This event represents a shift from the traditional conference style format to the establishment of a working community of practice. The activities are intended to promote networking and continued collaboration beyond the MNTeSIG event itself. We encourage, and will prefer financial support applications for, those who genuinely participate via submission of short presentations or posters for the meeting. Presentation or poster submission details are given here.
Our themes are:
• How to best grow the MNTeSIG, a Micro Nano Tech Education Community of Practice
• New educational materials and resources
• Innovative teaching methods
• Industry & workforce trends and opportunities
• Grant funding and program support ideas
• Student impact and recruiting
HI-TEC is a national conference on advanced technological education where secondary and postsecondary educators, counselors, industry professionals, trade organizations, and technicians can update their knowledge and skills. Charged with educating america’s technical workforce, the conference focuses on preparation needed by the existing and future workforce for companies in the high-tech sectors that drive our nation’s economy. The MNTeSIG Executive Committee and its sponsor, the National Science Foundation, recognize the importance of these two consecutive events and are offering a personal invitation for you to apply for this opportunity to attend.
